Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) was the 33rd President of the United States. During his administration, the United States experienced the Great Depression of the 1930s. He also kept America out of the war by staying neutral and by not supplying lend-lease aid to the United Kingdom, France, and the Soviet Union. In 1944, he was reelected, promising the American people once again that America will stay out of the war. At this moment, the Axis Powers have already carved out Europe, Africa, and Asia. FDR died of cerebral hemorrhage on April 12, 1945. His Vice President, Harry S. Truman, became the President and continued the United States' neutral policy.
